Fight for LuAnn

We wanted to reach out to our friends and family as we enter into a difficult season. LuAnn Riggs, Rachael’s sister, is beginning a fight against an aggressive form of breast cancer. She was recently diagnosed with a similar type of breast cancer which claimed the life of Rachael and LuAnn’s mother at the age of 46. We appreciate your prayers as LuAnn will be facing very extensive chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. LuAnn is a single mom who has four wonderful children and 1 beautiful grandchild. Please pray for a Desirae (age 20), Alex and Bryce (age 15), Amanda (age 12) and Lanie (almost 2 years). LuAnn is a beautiful person inside and out. She is a hardworking, compassionate ICU nurse who has been faithfully standing on the frontlines during the most recent Corona crisis. She was willingly quarantined from her children over the past month to sacrificially care for those fighting for their lives in the ICU. Please join with her and her family as they now enter another fighting battle of their own. LuAnn’s last day of work was April 16, 2020 We are asking for people of prayer to join with us in asking God to heal this invasive form of cancer. We are asking God to bring peace and strength during this time. We are also asking for those who are able to join together to relieve some of the financial stress that will be placed on her and her family during this time. Thank you for standing in the gap.
