Help fund Dave Voorhees’ STOLEN retirement fund

This GoFundMe’s purpose is to to help fund Dave’s retirement which was STOLEN by the Corona Virus Crook, forcing him to close five years early, and to thank him for a job well done with Bop Street for so many years. The first time I stepped foot into Bop street Records I was a 13 year old searching for Punk Rock tapes, and my curiosity branched to other genres. In my 20’s I found my first original copy Miles Davis Bitches Brew there. 10 years ago when Bop Street Records moved to Market, I volunteered my time to help the move; to help preserve this Northwest and World re-known music store that is Bop Street Records. After months of lugging pyramids of records Dave asked me, “why are you doing this??” To which I answered, “I want to see Bop Street Records be a success.” Right now Bop Street is going through struggles and the store front is closing. Music is a tapestry of our history, of our existence as humans, a tapestry of vibrations of the universe, and Dave’s passion was and is to archive this tapestry.
