Hello friends, families, and heroes alike. As some of you may know, on April 21st our dear friend Craig was admitted into Beth Isreal Mt Sinai due to this vicious disease that we have all been fearing, Covid 19. Craig has been facing many obstacles such as multiple organ failure where he has needed blood transfusions, dialysis, supplemental oxygen and plasma treatments…just to name a few. Each day is a new fight, a new battle. While some days he starts to progress he also faces setbacks. It is a living nightmare, where he is fighting for his life. There is so much uncertainty, but one thing that the Doctors can agree on is that he is so strong, “he keeps putting up a good fight”. It is going to be an uphill battle and a long road to recovery.
Anyone whom has the pleasure of knowing Craig knows how much of an amazing person he is. There is no one like him. His smile lights up any room, his laugh is so infectious that even if you don’t find what he’s laughing at is funny... you can’t help but laugh yourself. Craig is not only the life of the party but the person you can depend on for anything, he would take the shirt off his back for you. He is kind, loving, selfless, and would go to the ends of the earth for the people that he loves. He is the most devoted husband and father to his beautiful wife Holly and their gorgeous baby girl Keira. On Saturday, he was able to muster up the words to his wife “Im gonna beat this”.
At some point in all our lives, will come a time when we need support. Families aren’t always defined by blood, they are created by caring, by common experience, by knowing that someone has your back and that together we can overcome obstacles that life may throw at us. We want to show Craig and his beautiful family that they are not alone. We have started this page in hopes to ease some of his wife’s financial burdens, one less thing she won’t have to worry about while her beloved husband is fighting for his life in the hospital. Its hard enough that she and their daughter Keira can’t be there by his side, so let’s ease some of her worries and help minimize the financial burdens. This is going to be an uphill battle where it will be a long road to recovery. Holly is very humbled by this situation and it took great effort for us to convince her to allow us to create this page on her behalf. Any support is much appreciated and will go a long way. All funds raised will go directly to The Jamison Family to help keep bills afloat and any expenses that they will incur. The support of family and friends is the true cure in these difficult times. Godspeed.
