I am raising money for my Dear Sweet Mother, Audrey White...on behalf of my Father Edmund White and my Brother Steven White. My Dear has lost her battle with Dementia and has passed away today at 5pm while in Hospice Care. She was there for only 3 days. It's felt so shocking and painful for us because we didn't realize that she was this close the end of her life. Unfortunately. my parents have no life insurance or any savings ...and my Dad can't even think about trying to pay for any type of funeral services, of any kind. My Dear Mother has always given of herself and has always done so much for the community, here in her hometown of Greenport. One thing that gave my Mom great joy, for many years was chaperoning for the roller skating program every week at the Burton Potter Post Number 185 American Legion Hall in Greenport She's even received awards thanking her for being the person in Greenport who has donated the most for the needy...to the different thrift shops and churches in Greenport. Throughout her life she has always donated money to many causes that were so very dear to her heart including, St. Jude's Children's Cancer Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, The American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and to charities that helped Wounded Veterans. Please be kind enough to donate any amount, if you can, because my Mother was always so giving of herself....and this is a time that she needs DearFriends and Family to help her in her final time of need. This is so difficult for me and my Family at this heartbreaking time in our lives, to ask for help...but we have to. We don't have a choice. Thank you so very much, and May God Bless You!
