Hi, my name is Emily and I’m raising money to help bury my big brother. Jonathan, 44, had tragically passed away Wednesday morning (4/22), as he was found in a household passed out, unconscious and unresponsive before being rushed to the nearest hospital. My mother and I never got to say our goodbyes to him...especially with rules/restrictions due to the virus. His passing was so sudden to us. He was an amazing son, brother, friend, and all-around amazing person to be around. He was outstanding EVERYWHERE where he went, and he knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. His smile and his personality would light up a room. He was the greatest, goofiest..most fun brother I could ever ask for. If you could ask anyone that knew my brother, they would tell you that he would do absolutely anything and everything for them, even if he had a lot on his plate already. He was such a selfless being. Jon was always into writing, poetry, making music. There were all sorts of things he was talented at. I always wished he could show me/teach me things so I could be more like him. Some of the best moments would be when we went thrifting at our favorite spot, EcoThrift. Or when he would use the last of his money (all in coins) to buy us some candy at the corner store. My brother loved each and every one of his friends and family members SO so much, that he always gave us his all even if it meant nothing in return, just because. 100% of funds will be put towards funeral costs, as my mother and I are both unable to work right now.
