The Effinger family is one of a kind! They go above and beyond for their children and for others. They are a very near and dear to all of us and to those they have come in contact with. Now is the time they need some goodness coming their way. Our nephew, grandson, brother, friend and true inspiration needs our love. Tanner has been battling these nagging brain tumors, that nobody can figure out, for the last two years: Undergoing 2 brain surgeries, having to take a leave from college, mental strain and also financial strain. Last Halloween, the 2nd brain surgery was at the time a great success. However, recent scans have shown there are two tumors that are growing back and seem to be on the aggressive side. The Effingers, who are warriors, have to go to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for 8 weeks so Tanner can try a radiation treatment in hopes that these tumors will eventually be gone forever. They will be staying at an Airbnb that a lot of Mayo patients stay in during circumstances like these (this alone is $5000). Not to mention everything else they have accrued medical wise over the last two years and now the cost of this next treatment. The Effinger family would never ask for help during this time, but We, as a family are. If anyone out there can help out just a little bit, that little bit will go a long way. Let’s help out a great family and let’s all pray that Tanner and all his family and friends have faith, the strength and the positive force to get Tanner through this time in his life.
