Since 2014 C3 Caring Character Cosplay has been providing superheroes, princesses, and other pop culture icons or requested characters FREE of charge for special needs groups, medical fundraisers/activities/visits, Make a wish foundation Granting, community league events, schools/daycare visits, and more to assist with fundraising for various causes, end of life care visits, and more.

We also attend local Comic Cons small and large to encourage cosplayers do follow suit and recruit into our volunteer trams across alberta.

Our team travels from Alberta across the province and as far East as Vancouver and when possible as far East as Toronto as well as some special occasion outnof country international trips to the USA, and recently Japan to spread word about what we do and help start local versions of our organization to tend to their communities when we can't be there.

The organization was started when our leaders son passed away at 5 months old and he and his ex started looking for ways to help other parents and siblings dealing with the loss of a child by providing character meet and greets for their surviving siblings and any children in dire health situations who wished to meet their iconic heroes (favourite characters) while they still have a chance and have their hero encourage them to keep fighting and have some silly fun while there.

On average our group attends 200 events a year across Central and Southern Alberta with a few up north close to the NWT border.

We have recieved requests to attend Vancouver Island, Toronto, Nova Scotia and more but without a trailer of our own the added continued out of pocket cost for a trailer rental continues to grow and we are financially unable to gain one on our own.

We are hoping to use the funds to add a trailer of our own we can OWN and MODIFY to fit or needs and no longer have to rent will add to our distance and amount of gear/costumes/and activities we can bring to more events.

Every dollar helps and every SHARE, of this campaign can make our missiona reality for more communities and people who could use our services who otherwise might miss out.
