As I’m sure most of you have heard, Yuri passed away on Sunday. Out of the million things I could say about Yuri there is one thing that I feel is most important to mention. Yuri loved his family and his friends that he called family. He loved that family unconditionally. Family takes care of family, blood or not it doesn’t matter. It didn’t matter to Yuri. With that being said his family is our family. Even though he is no longer with us, we are going to look out for his family. Yuri was raised by his Grandmother Ruth. To Yuri, Ruth was his mom. Until Sunday Yuri was living in Austin and taking care of Ruth as needed. Ruth is in her 90s and legally blind and needs some assistance. With the loss of our friend it’s likely that Ruth will need to move closer to another member of the family in LA. We are raising money to assist with all expenses to lighten the burden on the family during this time. If there is anything you are able to donate it will be greatly appreciated! There is no question in my mind that if the tables were turned, Yuri would do the same for me and anyone else. Rest In Peace Yuri. I love you family!
