Owens battle continues

Hi there friends and family. I am posting today with news I never wished we’d have to. Owen starting experiencing some new, and scary symptoms this week very suddenly. Because of this, we were in contact quickly with his team of doctors in Seattle. They referred him to get an MRI here in Spokane.
That MRI took place yesterday morning- Friday April 17th at 8:00am and by 4:05pm Owen’s neurosurgeon called us to let us know that he is very concerned by his imaging and that the tumor has grown significantly since the last MRI taken in February.
Because of this, he needs us to come to Seattle for a 2nd brain surgery sometime within the next 30 days to go in and try and remove the entire tumor- COVID-19 or not. We will talk to the scheduler next week, and then make a plan from there.
Taylor was laid off on March 16th due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and due to an error with the unemployment office, still hasn’t received any payment while being off. So once again, funds are tight. We know everyone is facing hardship during this time one way or another- so even if all you can offer are prayers that is more than appreciated!
Owen is in good spirits overall. He’s pretty angry, and pre-mourning losses like swimming this Summer. But he is confident in his strength, and reassured by his ability to get through this. He truly is amazing! All prayers, good vibes, and thoughts- as always- are so needed and greatly appreciated! ♥️♾
