As some of you may know, my little sister Mackenzie has had an up hill battle with her health since the day she was born. Having 7 open heart surgeries and a heart transplant prior to second grade, she has always been a fighter. Recently, Mackenzie has been diagnosed with cancer and has begun treatment. A common side effect of her treatment is hair loss. The loss of hair for a woman in her early 20’s can be more emotionally draining on ones mental health then treatment itself. While Mackenzie is very strong and optimistic we hope to raise her spirits by, raising money for quality wigs, to allow her to keep up the beauty regime of styling her hair amongst other “feel good” daily activities!
