Support Crystal In Her Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Hi loves, here’s another lengthy post. But please please please read This is my beautiful friend Crystal. (I got her full approval to make this post) I met her about a month ago when we started residential around the same time, & I had the honor to have her as my roommate! Last week, she bravely shared her testimony with the group & opened up about the fear she faces with the uncertainty of her insurance & other financial concerns. At 20 years old, she is taking 13 credits & working a full time job, while also being in treatment. Her team here has had to practically beg her insurance company to let her stay for a while longer, but unfortunately after she discharges, she won’t be able to continue any outpatient/partial treatment. Crystal is also an independent & has been on her own insurance plan since 18. Even after insurance, she has a hugeee bill waiting for her when she gets out. I felt called to start a Gofundme for her. Her story has brought me to tears many times & having to quit treatment because of financial reasons should never have to be a thing. I know this is a very difficult time for everybody, & even if you don’t donate, please share/repost/tell your friends/ pray for her. If you do feel called to donate & are able to, every single dollar counts, & I’m trusting God will do so much more with it. I’m not sure how far this will go, but I also have a feeling a lot of eyes will read this. She is such a pure soul, & even if it’s just a small weight lifted off her shoulders, I know it will help a ton. Thank you for taking the time to read this, & please check the link in my bio. Crystal, we are here for you.
