URGENT Please Help Us Save Roxanne!
Donation protected
Roxy is a sweet girl who was rescued by her current owners in December 2019 at 1 year old. She has been an absolute joy and is the gentlest, wiggliest, and most loving dog. Just as the puppy was settling into her new, happy life, tragedy struck. Her owners made the responsible choice to get Roxy routinely spayed soon after adopting her. Unfortunately Roxy has done poorly since the operation. Since her spay over a month ago, Roxy has been in and out of multiple emergency and specialty hospitals. She has horrible infections, including in her lung, which have been treated with many antibiotics to no avail. Roxy has lost almost 1/3 of her body weight, is struggling to breathe, and is fighting for her life. The experts at Mass Vet have a plan for Roxy and will continue to take steps to help her recover. Roxy is fighting hard and is still the sweetest dog, even through her pain. Roxy’s family is asking for donations as they have already spent over $18,000 since her spay and now need help. Any donations will go directly toward saving her life and getting her back to her playful puppy self. We understand that this is a difficult time for many and all help is so appreciated. If you are unable to donate please contribute by sharing Roxy’s story. Any amount that exceeds Roxy’s needs will go directly toward other dogs in need.
