Early this month, Shannon was diagnosed with  invasive ductal carcinoma, which is a type of breast cancer. They rated it a grade 3 which is the most rapid spreading. There are so many unknowns as of right now including treatments and staging of the cancer. Shannon is getting a second opinion  on December 21 in Chicago at the Chicago cancer center of America.  Shannon is the sweetest and most caring person around and currently works as a nurse at Midmichigan Medical Center. My hopes are to help ease the financial burden that this awful disease also brings, especially with the holidays right around the corner! We love you much much Shanni! #ShannonStrong
