In 2015 JoyAnna was officially diagnosed with multi-systemic infectious disease disorder caused by Lymes disease.  The doctors believe that she has been sick for a long time, but in 2015 she nearly died. She weighed a mere 78 pounds and ended up in the hospital for long periods of time at least once a year.
