Save Igors Bistro!

Igors bistro is a small family owned restaurant located in rock island illinois Belonging to Rick lopez and his wife Kathy lopez After working 25 years in Union Construction Rick Lopez & family (wife, daughter, and 2 sons) decided to fulfill their life long dream of owning their own restaurant and feeding the public with homemade Food. Once Rick retired he decided to make the Jump to open! After being open for three years and two hard winters, Coronavirus/ Covid-19 hit and caused a wide spread shut down of many non essential businesses. Including sit down restaurants. With bills going out and little revenue coming in as customers hunker down. Our dinning room sits empty. Although we are doing carry out meals we don’t believe that it’s going to get us through these rough times. After news broke that governor J.B. Pritzker has put financial support plans in place to support small businesses we applied for it. Unfortunately we were not chosen for this Lottery of the $14.5 million that was allotted for this program. 2/3 was given to the chicago land area. leaving 1/3 for the rest of the state of illinois. We are still reaching out for government support from local officials, But we are not in a position to take on more debt. Please help Us save Igors Bistro.
