Let’s be honest: There’s never a good time to get a cancer diagnosis.

I got mine at the beginning of March 2020, just as we were seeing the global coronavirus pandemic
beginning to spread through the US and our home state of California placed under Stay At Home/
Shelter In Place orders.

2 months before my dream wedding & epic honeymoon.
1 month before my bridal shower.
3 weeks before my fiancé’ Chad’s birthday.

Everything changed overnight for us, just as it does for anyone faced with life-changing news. Still, I
have absolutely NO intention of letting this cancer end my life. Nope! Not when we still have so much to live for, so much hope for complete healing, so
much Love to give & receive. With our biggest
plans to celebrate our loving life together now on
hold indefinitely, we will still hold on to the hope
that we can celebrate with friends & family
someday soon.

Michelle is also the person responsible for
covering the expenses of her brother Bobby’s daily caregiving team. Up until Michelle’s breast cancer diagnosis, we have been able to manage the
monthly costs. We are humbled to ask for help in
covering the additional expenses that Michelle’s
upcoming treatments will require. Although we
were able to secure an insurance plan for her that became effective April 1, we still have to pay for
pre-insurance diagnostics and lab work;
out-of-pocket costs; medication; and all the other associated treatment & recovery costs that we
can’t even anticipate.
