Hunter; The Wonder Dog...had A Bad day & Needs HLP

We recognize in these tumultuous times, people are uncertain about the future; social distancing, lost jobs and on and on. We understand that our request pales compared to some realities. That being said, Hunter, a dog, needs our help. He was chewing a raw patella bone, which he does now and again, and managed to swallow a chunk too big to move through his system. That was last night. Today, he did not eat, drink nor hardly lift his head. He laid drooling and whimpering. We finally took him to the vet, (very different with social distancing)where, after x-rays etc it was determined that Hunter needed surgery. We still are grieving those brown eyes, that could bore in your soul, that asked us that we would take care of Hunter on her behalf. We’re in it with Hunter; come what may...we’re in! The PTSD is real...this whole thing has opened up “stuff” in us...I can’t even begin. We are still in the roller coaster process of healing and grieving. So recognizing the current tender state of the earth, and that each of you are feeling real pressure and even your own loss and grief. Several have asked, in short order, how they can help? So far, this has cost us around $4500 . Who knew? Hunter has been with us for 5 plus years, many of you have been following his story over the years...he’s even come to a couple of A schools with us.
