Leslie “Tweet” Gillie Fundraiser

Leslie Felicia Raymond Gillie was born on June 11, 1973 little did she know the amount of lives that she would touch and change. On April 4, 2020 Leslie died after losing her battle to the COVID-19 virus (Corona). For all that knew Leslie, we know that the things she cared about most were her family and friends and the sport of bowling! Leslie affectionately known as “Tweet” spent every waking moment caring for her family and sharing her knowledge of bowling to young and old. If you didn’t bowl in one of her leagues, bowl in any tournament (hers and others) or get asked to fill in then, then you were about to get asked...just wait she would say, you are going to give in eventually. Spending most of her time working at Brunswick Zone Homewood, AMF and Oak Forest you became extended family. She made you feel appreciated and loved. She knew your family, special days in your lives and went above and beyond for the kids. To cherish her memory, Leslie leaves behind her adoring Husband Sean and their son Braedon. As we all know COVID-19 took us all by storm and with the recent death of Leslie’s mother in law, the family has numerous unexpected expenses that need to be taken care of. I am respectfully requesting your support to the Gillie family. As we know services have been suspended until the virus is under control, we hope to host a loving memorial at a later time. For now Sean and Braedon have a lot to take care and I would like all her friends and family to support the Gillie family with a donation.
