Help Amira Get Surgery

Hello everyone. I am trying to raise money for my beloved Amira. Some of you may know her or have seen the hundreds of pictures and videos I post of her online. She’s generally a very happy, friendly, and playful dog. Eager to give everybody kisses and beg to be pet and babied. She’s recently fallen ill and hasn’t been eating. She has lost over 10lbs in just 3 weeks. I have no way of paying for her vet bills. She has been examined at DoveLewis Animal Hospital on (04/4/20). I still owe money for just the examination and fluids they gave her. The Veterinarian who seen her told me he believes her situation is life threatening and she needs tests done and further care as soon as possible or her health will continue to decline and this could end up being her last year on earth. She has a hard mass in her abdominal area which he believes likely to be a tumor or possibly cancer. I would never ask anything of anyone unless I absolutely needed it, and I really do need it. I need to get my girl back to health. She means everything to me and has been my Emotional Support Animal for almost 6 years. DoveLewis Animal Hospital was unable to offer me their velvet fund assistance. I’ve applied for CareCredit as well as ScratchPay and was denied both. I don’t have good income at the moment. I’m making less than a grand a month and on SNAP benefits just to barely make ends meet as it is. It’s embarrassing to even say that publicly but I will embarrass myself any day to get her the help that she desperately needs. I know this is a hard time financially for everyone due to this pandemic but anything at all would help get me to get her seen ASAP. I was given an estimate of $500 for X-ray imaging alone and that’s just a starting point. She will also need bloodwork, urine analysis, and further care after her diagnosis. Further care costs will depend on her official diagnosis and I am unsure of what that is until I am able to pay for the imaging and tests. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thanks again. -Angelina and Amira Update: I wanted to update everyone on her condition. I took her to Willamette Valley Animal Hospital this morning (4/6/20) and got her another examination and X-ray imaging done for $200. She will need surgery to remove two baseball sized stones by her bladder. They quoted me $1,500 for the removal surgery. I’m very glad it wasn’t a tumor as even the second veterinarian at Willamette Valley was concerned it was before doing the X-ray. He wants the surgery done within the next month so please anything at all helps. Thank you.
