Feed The Needy

Assalam-u-Alaikum Everyone!  - After two successful campaigns, we shall be distributing essentials to those in need in hope to help families in Pakistan open their fasts with a little less struggle again this Ramadan.  However, this year there is a greater need for our help due to the pandemic that has unfortunately affected the world - Covid-19. This has resulted in closures of shops and unemployment, which has resulted in the poor being deprived even more so of basic necessities. But we can play our part collectively to help alleviate their difficulties.   - Having achieved our goal last year, raising just over £5000, we hope to achieve the same, if not more, this year with your help and support. We really appreciate all the support we received in both our previous campaigns, which has motivated us to campaign again with even more enthusiasm.  - 100% of the proceeds will be going towards the packages, with a team of volunteers put in place in Pakistan to ensure your donation is used to truly help those most vulnerable and in need during these very difficult times.  Our package is a response to both the need of food as well as products that will ensure hygiene is encouraged to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus and raise awareness within poorer communities. - Packages include: - 20kg Chapatti Flour  - 5kg Rice - 2kg Sugar - 2kg Ghee - 500g Tea - Jam-E-Shirin (800ml) - 2 packets of Vermicelli - 800g Salt - 5kg Lentils (Includes: Masoor Daal, Masar Daal, Channa Daal, Moong Daal and Maash Daal) - 1kg Gram Flour (Besan) - Spices and Flavourings (Red Chilli Powder, Tumeric, Cumin, Black Pepper, Coriander, Pomegranate Seeds) - Black Seeds - Kalonji (this has been added due to it's medicinal benefits proving to help alleviate many illnesses.) - 4 Dettol Soaps - Dish-washing Soap  - 500g Surf Washing Powder - Each package is worth £25. This price is given as a guideline, as any amount of donation is welcome. Remember you can even donate your Zakat, Sadaqah and Fidyah for this cause too. - Let us help feed the needy together!
