Support Jill Buffington After Severe Stroke
Donation protected
Please help my mother, Jill Buffington.
Yesterday, April 2nd, she suffered an unexpected major stroke in her sleep. We rushed her to the Camden Clark Emergency Room where she was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. From there we discovered that she has a blockage in her main carotid artery, which will require a lengthy surgery in order to remove. As of now, we are still awaiting several details. We have been notified she has some responsiveness on the left side of her body. As for now, her right side remains unresponsive. The doctors have her on medicine to prevent and reduce any possible swelling in her brain. My father and sister are staying in Morgantown for a while to be nearby, although they’re unable to visit due to the current pandemic occurring. This is a very tough time for my family as my mom is a crucial piece of our family. Jill is an extremely loving and kind person to all she encounters, she is the Housekeeping Manager at the historical Blennerhasset Hotel. She absolutely loves her job as well as her co-workers. For those who know her personally, we cannot forget about her unconditional love for her two ducks, Big Beak and Little Beak. She’s a wonderful mother to two daughters, a sister, a daughter, as well as a wife. She is 37 years young. Any possible donation would be forever appreciated and needed. These funds will be going towards medical expenses, travel from Parkersburg to Morgantown, as well as making the house accommodating to her in the future. Thank each and every one of you, and god bless.
