As we all know Covid-19 is here. The demographic most affected are the elderly and vulnerable. Voluntary and private nursing homes currently provide care to around 25,000 people in Ireland. Unfortunately nursing home staff are experiencing shortages in personal protective equipment (PPE) which they require to minimise the risk of infecting Covid-19 to the residents and to protect themselves. This is the time that staff are needed most to care for residents, so let's help protect them. We at MedScan3D can provide 3D printed face shields to the nursing homes that cannot access the PPE they require. We will take orders, assemble, sterilise and deliver them to the nursing homes. As we are a small start up and this is not part of our daily business, so we need your help to fund this not for profit cause against Covid-19. We will happily donate as many as we can but the demand is coming in hard and fast and we want to supply as many as possible. 100% of the money raised will be used to cover the direct supply of these face shields.
