Recovering from Heart Surgery – Need Help Getting Back on My Feet

Four months ago, I was fighting for my life in a hospital bed after major heart surgery. Today, I’m finally home and recovering—but I’m now facing a different kind of battle: staying afloat financially after being unable to work for the past 6 months.

Hi everyone,

My name is Aaron Hayden and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life. I recently underwent major heart surgery and spent 4 months in the hospital. It was a long and challenging experience and was hard on me mentally and physically but I’m grateful to be on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, during this time, I haven’t been able to work, which has left me in a serious financial situation. I’ve fallen behind on my bills, and the stress of trying to catch up while recovering has been overwhelming.

On top of that, my car—my main source of transportation—needs about $3,000 in repairs. Without it, getting back to work and making it to follow-up medical appointments is extremely difficult.

I’m doing everything I can to move forward, but right now I truly need help. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:

• Catching up on essential bills (rent, utilities, etc.)

• Covering transportation and car repairs

• Helping me stay stable while I recover and work toward returning to work
