Hi there! My name is Alexandra Kenny, I am a 22 year-old college graduate with a BS in Psychology and a certificate in Addiction Studies.
I love what I do, BUT, I've always had another passion that I deemed too frivolous to pursue. I've always written songs, and I love to write and sing. I love music!
So, last year, I applied to a Songwriting and Production Masters program with an essay and three song submissions, and I got in!
Starting this September, I will be living in Cardiff, Wales, and attending the University of South Wales!!
The only problem with this AMAZING opportunity is that my status as an international student poses some financial difficulties. I am very limited in how much I'm able to legally work while i'm in the UK, and at the same time, I'm being asked by the university, to work even less than I'm legally able to because of how time-consuming the degree program will be.
I've been given an estimated cost of living for the year that I will be studying, 9840 GPB, which in USD, is about $14400.
I'm asking that people help me out, if they can, in any possible way, so that I can live my dream for a year, without the possibility of having to move back with no degree!!!
