Keegan, 11, has rare covid related disorder

In December my best friend Amber and her family got Covid-19. 4 of her children tested positive, only Keegan, her autistic son, was an asymptomatic positive. Here we are 20 something days post covid and Keegan began having stomach pains, a headache and high fevers. Amber took him to the emergency room 30 minutes from their house in Greenville, Tx, where the did xrays, sonogram on his belly and blood work. They got his fever to break but his heart rate was still high. They sent him home saying it was some sort of virus but not covid related.
The next morning his fever had spiked again to 100.7 and Amber knew something was not right. She took him to the local emergency room in Commerce, TX. They did a C.T scan and an EKG as well as giving him meds for his fever and watching his high heart rate. They saw swollen lymph nodes in his stomach and sent them home with instructions to call the primary doctor for an MRI. They thought he may have lymphoma.
On Wednesday Amber got in touch with the primary and due to Keegan still having a fever was instructed to take him to Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Tx. He was admitted and at first the thought he had a partial bowel blockage. They began treating that as well running IV fluids for extreme dehydration and battling the fever the first night. They also ran there own set of scans and tests.
Thursday the blockage is gone and the fever is between 102.8 and normal, back and forth, but now Keegan is having trouble maintaining blood pressure and his heart rate is still high. He has also now developed a cough to go with his headache and fevers and is super weak. But its looking better because he ate some so he might get to go home the next day.
Thursday night around midnight Amber woke to Dr's and nurses trying to wake Keegan asking him his name and birth date. His blood pressure and heart rate have dropped dramatically and they are now pretty sure this is covid related. They are bringing in 12 tubes to draw blood to test for antibodies and Keegan is going up to ICU.
This morning they are sure this is covid related. They are starting steroids for his lungs. He is not on oxygen but they want to pre-game to avoid those issues as he already has a cough. They are starting additional IV lines to give donor blood with antibodies. They are starting a pik line into his heart as his heart rate is only normal when he is moving around and drops to low when he is resting. Amber has not left his side and is missing work. Adam is home with the baby, the other kids, and his mom with dementia. So he is also missing work. They are going to need help with making the bills while Keegan is getting better. Please share, and pray or send good vibes. Any donation helps no matter the amount.
