Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We hope you are staying safe and healthy during these challenging times.
As many of you know,we opened Archer & Goat, a family owned restaurant, in the historic neighborhood of Mount Morris Park District in Harlem NYC just over a year ago. We have been overjoyed by the way our neighbors have welcomed us since the day we opened our doors. Over the last year, we've gotten to know many of you and your families, and have been honored to host so many celebratory occasions, including birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers, holiday parties, and even a very special wedding brunch.
With any new business, we have endured many significant challenges over the first year, but the last couple of weeks have been the most difficult time by far. When NYC restaurants were ordered to close for dine in service, we had to make the very painful decision to let our employees go. And like so many folks in the restaurant industry, their whole livelihoods were completely changed almost overnight, without any fault of their own.
We set up this fundraiser to provide relief for our talented and dedicated team and to help our business survive this crisis. We appreciate any sized donations, even as little as $5 can make a difference.
Anyone donating $50 will receive a specialty cocktail; for $100 a cocktail kit for one of our signature cocktails (each kit serves 4); for $500 a special 3-course dinner for two with a bottle of wine.
We look forward to overcoming this crisis, opening our doors again and creating more beautiful memories with you all ... in the meantime, please take care of each other, please take care of yourselves.
