Dear familia,


As you may know my livelihood as a musician has taken a severe turn for the worse with recent events. With restaurant/club and school closures and now today's complete lockdown from my state's governor I find myself in immediate and severe financial crisis after running through the last of my meager savings and taking on credit card debt to stay afloat.  I also recently had to take my car in to the mechanic for repairs and it has been in the shop for over a week awaiting pickup. Thankfully I have another temporary transportation option but it is uncertain on how long it will be viable.   Can you help? My most urgent needs are rent, utilities, food, car payment/insurance, credit card payment, medical expense and spiritual/religious offerings for my ancestors.


I anticipate it could be weeks, maybe even months until I am able to play publicly again as things slowly reopen and ramp back up. Every day that goes by I lose gigs, events, festival bookings as the cancellations continue to pour in. I can sound music now but it could be some time before venues and gig opportunities become available. Thanks so much for anything you can do. I hope to return to the music and audiences I love and all of you very soon. In the meantime I am working on learning new technologies in the hopes I can still put a smile on your face during these difficult times.
