A Little Generosity Goes a Long Way

The world is in crisis. We are all fighting a common enemy, and drawing together to help protect our family, friends, and community- by distancing ourselves. As a direct impact of the outbreak of COVID-19, the Generous coffee shops in Colorado have had to close down for the foreseeable future. These shops closing doesn’t just negatively impact those whose Incomes depend on it, but also the communities who directly benefit from Generous (Generous gives back to non-profit organizations in Honduras, Haiti, and other impoverished communities). Several of our Generous community members, who were called to work for Generous because of its mission to help make the world a better place through compassion and acts of love (which is their mission as well), are now facing financial hardship as a result. We are organizing this fundraiser to try to help them in this turbulent time, so that they don’t have to worry about how they will pay their bills, or pay for their next meal. These baristas have served you coffee and enjoyed doing it. During this time they are unable to work and make any type of wage. As a result we are asking our community to get behind them and support them by financial assistance. We believe there is hope within this moment of what seems to be desperate...here is the start!
