Il 24 marzo compirò 45 anni in un clima surreale: il mondo è sospeso, l’Italia soffre, la mia Milano è in ginocchio per colpa di un virus bastardo. Mi commuove la generosità di chi si sta battendo con tutte le forze per il nostro futuro, per salvare vite, per trovare cure e alleviare dolori. Il più bel regalo di compleanno sarà quello che farò insieme a voi, agli amici di famiglia e ai tanti amici incontrati nel mio mondo professionale, il mondo del vino. Il calice che alzerò per brindare al mio compleanno questa volta sarà pieno del vino migliore, quello che porta un messaggio di vita e di gioia! Vi ringrazio con tutto il cuore, anche solo un piccolo gesto simbolico mi aiuterà a realizzare un grande sogno. Tutto quello che riceverò in regalo andrà all’Ospedale Sacco di Milano, oggi un simbolo della lotta al Covid-19 e un punto di riferimento per la sanità italiana, specialmente in materia di malattie infettive e virus.
