K9 Emotional Support in Memory of Matt Barthel

On Sunday, March 8th my dear brother Matt Barthel took his life to suicide. Our family is heart broken for such a great loss of an incredible person. We are deeply touched by all of the condolences from his family and friends. To honor his memory we're requesting those who were touched by Matt's life and others to donate to this great MN charity. Matt's love for dogs was so strong and knowing that a support dog can help others would mean so much to him.  The funds received will be donated to K9s from Carrie a local non-profit in Anoka, MN. Your donations will be used to provide support to people in mental health crisis and suicide prevention. Donations can be received anytime and ongoing to honor Matt's memory. The support will mean so much to Matt's mother, siblings and his nieces & nephews and would help us heal during this difficult time knowing we are helping someone else.  All donations can be made through this go fund me page. We do this by 1) pairing a physically and emotionally sound dog with individuals as well as sponsoring obedience and emotional support training to that dog, and by 2) sponsoring obedience and emotional support training for an existing dog belonging to an individual or family.
