Help Wyatt Beat Leukemia
Donation protected
Wyatt was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on March 12, 2020. AML is a rare, aggressive and particularly nasty from of Leukemia. Wyatt is three and a half years old and is a funny, witty, head strong little man who is the heart of his family. He loves PJ Mask, dogs, and playing Mine Craft with is many hours in the hospital. And Wyatt has a lot of time to kill in his hospital room because unlike other forms of Leukemia, his must stay in the hospital for 28 or more days at time. He will have to undergo at least five separate bouts of chemo each accompanied by a month in the hospital. He does get a week break in between hospital stays if his platelete and cell counts are favorable, and if his family stays quarantined and healthy. Covid-19 has complicated his family's ability to earn income while still paying for and maintaining their health insurance. As you can imagine, the co-pays and out of pocket expenses will be maxed out, and our earning goal will just cover them. There are still hundreds of related expenses relating to his care as his family travels back and forth to Primary Children's Hospital and meets his many needs. Wyatt's big brown eyes and long eye lashes have won the heart of his nurses and care givers. Even though he must suffer innumerable pokes and prods, painful treatments and dressing changes, he is happy, and still has a smile for the nurses and Doctors. Wyatt's family appreciates any help you can give as they try to focus all their energy on keeping Wyatt as healthy as possible so he can beat this this rare and pernicious disease.
