We Won't Give Up - Emily's Medical and Legal

First I want to thank each and every one of you who have been following Emily’s life for these last 7 long months.
As you all know, in February, Emily’s life took a traumatic turn. After having extremely painful headaches, being turned away from one eye doctor, saying it was nothing, then going to her regular doctor who sent her to another eye doctor who figured out that they were being caused by too much spinal fluid built up. Two spinal taps with no relief, the only other option was brain surgery. She went in for brain surgery intended to help with these issues, but unfortunately this surgery caused a massive brain bleed, leaving her in this coma for the past 7 months, which was completely unexpected. The lack of care after being moved between facilities and hospitals is devastating. She has endured many unexplained issues and injuries stemming from this and we still have so many unanswered questions before us.
She is currently at a facility where she is receiving great care, but we have found an amazing Neurological Rehab where Emily can receive much more intensive care.
Unfortunately that is going to cost a bit more money, but we have to do what we need to give our Emily the best care we can get her, so she can heal and come back to us!
We are also meeting with a great team to help us continue taking care of her on Monday ! We will be signing documents that are important on her care and will need to pay the lawyers $500 starting out.
We hate being in the position to ask anyone to go out of their way, but this all was completely unexpected, and we are doing everything we can to bring Emily back home to her family. We all love and miss her more than anyone will ever know.
She didn’t deserve this. Her children don’t deserve this. They don’t understand. They went from having their wonderful mom everyday to being separated and having other family take sole responsibility over them, not seeing or hearing her. They need their mommy back. We are her voice, and we need to do whatever we can to help her, and we are praying and asking anyone for any help they can give us.
