This is Cassidy Maglero. She is 22 years old and in December of 2019 she was diagnosed with a rare form of advanced stage 3 cancer. Upon being diagnosed, she was abruptly let go of her job. When Cassidy went into surgery she thought it was a benign tumor but woke up to a nightmare. She has handled this life changing diagnosis so amazing and I very proud of her. She’s fighting for her life daily. She has spent weeks in the hospital between surgeries, infections, chemo and all that comes along with such a debilitating diagnosis. I’ve held off doing this GoFundMe because I thought we could handle this but the expense is overwhelming. Cass should be concentrating on beating this, nor worrying about how she is going to eat. Cassidy also wants to bring awareness to this silent killer. She wants all people to listen to their bodies and never stop fighting for your health. Her symptoms were mild to say the least. If you suspect anything, she begs you to get checked. She doesn’t have her mom at her side, because she’s incarcerated, and yet she puts a smile on that face and pushes forward everyday.
