It has taken me a while to swallow my pride and ask for help. I am a very private and proud person and I’m not asking for a handout but rather a hand up to help me get back on my feet. The last couple of years have been very difficult for as my health has declined significantly. This past year I have been homeless several times and now I’m living in a shelter as I try to regain my health and employment. Anybody that really knows me knows how difficult this is for me to ask.
