Shari Rathaus was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in August of 2019. She began chemotherapy shortly after, but has since had to pause her treatments due to complications such as a bacterial infection and sepsis, and multiple hospitalizations. Shari will be going in for surgery on March 12th in hopes to get the tumor removed from the head of her pancreas. Shari and her doctors are optimistic but regardless of the outcome, she has a long hospital stay and recovery ahead of her.
Shari has not been able to work, and with her parents in their 80’s, and a developmentally delayed daughter, her son is the only person able to work and provide for her family. Any support for Shari and her family to help her with her expensive deductibles and out of pocket costs are appreciated. Shari is strong and extremely brave and I am proud to consider her family to me. We love you Shari!
