I'm raising the money for myself and my family member because you see without this family member that could really help me with my daily life because you see I'm in a wheelchair and I'm a paraplegic due to a motorcycle accident in September of 88 when I was hit by drunk driver no fault of my own after that went through years of physical therapy and then i’ve recently had some extensive surgery done due to a couple of pressure ulcers five to be exact and I've spent a large amount of time in the hospital almost five years to be exact.... Do to a negligent caregiver who was helping me and the gentleman saw the wounds develop and basically waited 5 months before he basically said anyting about the wounds being there and by the time he opened his mouth it was already too late so basically one of the main wounds had basically taken out the whole right side of my right leg to where I basically almost lost it and I had developed osteomyelitis which I never had in my life the wounds developed because of the fact that I had lost the feeling to be able to urinate due to gallstones meaning that I could feel myself needing to urinate but I couldn't control my bladder due to the gallstones being the size that they were so I've had large gallstones and then I also had an inflamed pancreas and this all developed during the time that the five ulcers had developed also so I have went through some extensive surgery over a five-year. So basically a lot of the funding that I was getting to be able to live my daily life is now gone and right now I'm basically almost healed up still somewhere getting the treatment that I need but the fact of the matter is I need help because I need the funds to basically continue on with my daily life for part of the near future until my other half can come help me because she'll be the one to basically take care of my daily needs and assist me with everything I mean she's been a great help to me through all the support that I needed when I was in the hospital with nobody else supporting me as far as being by my side even my own family I basically almost died twice due all this and I just need the help for the time being right now because soon I'm going to be leaving the hospital and I don't have any funds at this time to be able to help me even live I've spent a lot of time outside sleeping outside and it's been really difficult for me because doing that I also don't always have a place to charge my wheelchair which is a power chair and I don't want to have a reoccurrence of the wounds opening up again or reactivating my osteomyelitis so hopefully anybody that knows me that has possibly read my story or any new people that have begun to read this story please know that all the help that you can provide me for me and my family is greatly appreciate it greatly appreciate it I mean if I could I would do it for some of you too but at this point I cannot and that is just the honest truth and I've always been polite to everyone that I've come across at least I try to be I fought back to get better this far I just need some help until my family can be with me to help give me all the support that I need
