Due to pregnancy complications, Spencer and Jessy Kaff welcomed Winnie Grace into this world on November 28, 2019 (Thanksgiving Day) at only 26 weeks (6 months). Weighing a mere 1 lb 8 oz she was tiny and fragile, and we all instantly fell in love. After receiving months of intensive medical care, Winnie is now a beautiful 5 lb+ bundle. During her NICU stay, there have been many ups and downs, and some scary life-threatening episodes. Some of the downs are an eye disease called retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), a heart murmur and defective artery which may require surgical intervention in the future, and fragile lungs. Spencer and Jessy visit their little bumblebee in the NICU every day while working, finishing school, and trying to lead as normal of a life as possible. With Winnie’s original due date less than a week away, she is now being transferred to Los Angeles for laser eye surgery. This go fund me is being set up by their family to assist in covering the mounting medical and travel expenses. If you are unable to give monetarily, prayers are appreciated and welcomed.
