Family In Crisis

My name is Kelly Bauer. I am a mother of three, two of which are still under my wings... my daughter is 11 and my youngest son is 6. Over the last almost two years I have been pursued, courted and spent time getting to know a man that I fell in love with and planned to spend forever with. Three months ago, I gave away everything I owned back in my home state of Alaska and he paid to move my kids and our pets 4,000 miles away down to our current state of Missouri to be with him and his son as a family. My heart was full and I was so happy. Our future together was to be amazing and I had to pinch myself at the happiness I had in my life. Flash forward 3 months and my proposed fairytale ending isn’t what I planned it to be. My children and I are being put out of his home this Friday. We have a loving friend who has welcomed us in for temporary housing. We have the means to get there, however once there no means to get back on our feet. I am strong and have always worked and supported me and mine and now I find myself without out anything and no immediate way to correct the situation without help. I have reached out to anyone who I thought could help. Churches, shelters, friends, community services. There is no help available. No real resources in this town and what is there is stretched to the max and there is no room for us. I am beyond devastated that I am in this situation and my children are having to suffer too. They don’t deserve this. When I told my daughter today, she bawled, we bawled. She’s just started making some nice friends in school here, after leaving her lifelong friends only 3 months ago. My heart breaks for my babies. I feel foolish to not have a job or a car, but I was so committed to my unfortunately not so happily ever after. I am turning to you because I don’t know what else to do for my children. Anything you can do to help us in anyway would be greatly appreciated. We need to somehow get funds for transportation, permanent housing, food and necessities. Anything you can share will be greatly appreciated and will help me keep give my kids the security they so desperately need right now.
