On Feb. 18, 2020, the Porterville Library erupted into flames. The fire quickly engulfed the library. But that did not stop the extremely brave firefighters from responding and jumping into action. Unfortunately, the fire took the lives of two heroes, Ray Figueroa and Patrick Jones. As the children of Porterville Fire Fighters and Tulare County Sheriff Officers we are planning to use the money we raise to build a memorial bench, and a mural for the two amazing heroes. The location of these are still undecided The withdraw transaction will be made to David Avena the secretary of the Porterville City Fire Department. Who will hold on to the money unti it is ready to use.
