A couple days ago Lucy our family dog started having digestive problems that lead to us taking her to the vet. After several X-rays they found blockage in her stomach and was immediately taken into surgery. She had a large incision across her abdomen and 2 internal incisions - one in her stomach and one deep in her small intestine. She has been staying over night at the vet because she keeps regurgitating and has not been able to eat anything. Today she is going under again to get feeding tubes but will still be monitored at the hospital over the next several nights. We’ve been visiting Lucy and she’s going to be okay but this was an unexpected expensive emergency. We’re currently working out payment plans but after the surgeries, feeding tubes/food, medication, and hospital stay my family and I are kindly asking for any donations. We don’t now how long she has to stay at the hospital but every night is another expense. Lucy is a part of our family and her heath is our priority.
