This past Friday, April 30, 2021 we lost a beautiful soul. Kevin was involved in a tragic car accident and was brought to UTMB. The doctors rushed him to surgery, but were unable to repair his beautiful body. I was fortunate enough to be able to make it to the hospital as they were rushing him to the operating room and was able to scream out to him that I was there. After surgery, I was with him in the room trying my best to comfort him. I held his hand, rubbed him, and spoke in his ear only things we would know to say to each other. He bent his fingers down on my hand to let me know he had to go. Then he was gone.

My entire world went dark at this moment, along with everyone else that was so lucky to have known him. He truly was an angel sent to us for such a short period of time on this earth. I know he is looking down on all of us and so sad to see us all so sad. That's the type of person he was. He would take on someone else's pain just to make them happy. Kevin was the most selfless person and brought so much joy to this world.

I am starting this GoFundMe in hopes that we can raise enough to help pay final expenses and a huge medical bill that will come. I pray and hope if he brought light to your life and you are able to help that you will. Every dollar will add up and help me and his family.

I love him so much, as I know so many do. I believe he is still with us and will show us in time. I gained the most beautiful angel 3 days ago and am so thankful for every moment I had with him. He was truly the best human to walk this earth.
