I am writing this for the Wright Family because I know they need it and they will not ask. Tuesday Evening Mikie Wright was in a terrible car accident and was life flighted to UC Davis where he is now inpatient in their ICU. This accident has left him severely injured, unconscious and in critical condition. He still has a brain bleed and are awaiting results on whether or not he will suffer brain damage. His wife Paige has been at the hospital all everyday since, unable to pay bills and take care of her own children, let alone herself. Those that know Mikie know that he is an amazing father, husband and friend to many in this county. Him and his wife are more than saints; whenever someone asks they always lend a helping hand no questions asked. Their home has been open to the public many times and they never ask for anything in return. Paige and Mikie have two children: Rylee and Carter. Carter is Autistic which means Paige must stay at home with him; leaving Mikie as the only financial provider. Seeing as how he is currently hospitalized, Paige has found herself without money, in need of paying bills, and desperately seeking child care so that she may remain by her husband’s side waiting for him to awaken. I ask that you help in whatever way you can. I could only imagine what it is like to have your husband, your bestfriend, your provider, the father of your children laying in the hospital fighting for his life and there being nothing you can do. Please help the Wright family. There is a goal set for $5000 to hopefully give the Wright’s these next two months to focus on Mikie’s immediate needs and long time recovery.
