Friends Of Frankford Football

One major goal the Friends Of Frankford Football has been working on for 3 years has been to send the football team away for camp and to travel as a team. 95% of our players and our players families live in poverty. Many of our players can’t afford simple things like cleats. Donating to the Friends Of Frankford football is a worthy cause. The team has gone through some traumatic events the last years. Sadly 3?players lost their lives. Sophomore Football player Messiah Chiverton was murdered in October of 2017 after leaving football practice. In December of 2018 former Pioneer Kaseem Rodgers was shot and killed down the street from his house. As a team we chose to honor these young men by promoting “Practive4Peace” a now 3 year old initiative that promotes peaceful resolutions to conflict. We now also open the doors of our locker room on Friday nights to shield our players from the violence that plagues our neighborhood.
