My name is Corine Green. My grandson Terry Alan Brown Jr. was 25 when he passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning on January 20, 2020. He complained  of shortness of breath and was rushed to the hospital. They tried to revive him several times. After 3 times his heart stopped and it was nothing else they could do for him.  When Terry was 13 he was shot 5 times in his back, his arm and stomach, while playing basketball. Bullets that was not meant for him could have killed him. Terry survived and ended up having his spleen removed. It was a miracle that he survived and recovered. That incident was tragic to him and our family. His death is even more overwhelming for us knowing how much he had been through.

Terry also known as T.J. was a happy spirit,  he was a caring young man who loved his family, friends, and was loved by everyone. His energy would light up everyone room he walked in. He was extremely giving and always gave his last to make sure his loved ones were okay. Terry was passionate about life. He took the role as the older brother to the heart. He was very protective of his siblings and his family. He was the eldest boy, leaving behind 2 younger brothers, Arthur Brown and Terrell Brown, a little sister Sherrell Brown.  Also 4 older sisters Termika Green, Teshika Mason, Terika Green and Donetta Brown. He also leaves behind a 1 year old son Xavier. Also a mother and father Terry Green and Donna Brown and me his grandmother Corine Green. He leaves behind a huge family behind that loves him and will always love him.

Terry affectionately known as T.J. will be missed greatly. As many know, an unexpected tragedy like this brings upon expenses that no family is ever ready for. It will mean a lot to us to give him a proper homegoing celebration of life. It would mean even more to him to see all his friends and family come together and attend his funeral.
