Tony Coffaro Jr. was born in Anchorage Alaska on August 1, 1969 and moved to western Washington in August of 1975. He grew up in Renton, graduated from Kentridge High school in 1987, then graduated from University of Washington. He has lived in Maple Valley since 1994. At an early age he had a love for pitching baseball, hot wheels cars, fireworks, baseball cards and all things related to Italian food. He passed a lot of these interest to his family. He loved the Oregon coast, and Washington state peninsula. As an adult Tony enjoined being a Dad most of all. He wanted his girls to be tough and well educated. He taught them to shoot a rocket and fire a gun while maintaining straight A's in school. Nina remembers learning to drive and his incredible patience with her, she appreciated his support in her entry to UW at 14. Getting dirty and using their hands was always something Stella and her dad enjoyed , whether they were busy on an art project or building a fence together.
