My name is Jesus a community organizer in Santa Clara County. On November 24 2019 our beloved community leader Ernesto suffered from several seizures. He was picked up by an ambulance on at 3am. He’s son found him on the floor having a seizure. Within the next couple of days he had more then 8 impactful seizures. The doctors decided to heavily sedate him, leaving him at sleep. He was sedated until Dec 9 when he was showing improvement with some of the anti-seizure Meds they gave him. He’s children are re-locating him to So-Cal due to affordability. The seizures caused a lot of brain damage. He will need care at all times of the day and a lot of physical therapy. He has always been really independent so waking up everyday not knowing why he is at the hospital has been really hard on him and his progress. Doctors have yet to find out what caused him to have seizures. They just diagnosed him with Norse since nothing else has been concrete. The money raised will deposited straight to his daughter Angela Perez account. Angela and her siblings will be caring for Ernesto since he needs 24 hrs care and the money will be used for medical expenses, rent  and to help relocate him to Southern California. Ernesto is along time community leader in Santa Clara county. He has been fighting for immigrant and housing rights for his friends and neighbors. Thank you all in advance for you contribution.
