College Fund

Hi, My name is Kendric McCallister. I'm in my 3rd year at SUNY purchase as a student of jazz studies. Up until this point I have earned all A's in all of my classes, while keeping up with my own self study and practice. Studying at purchase has afforded opportunities to play and work with some of the greatest musicians in new york, as well as some of my greatest heros on and off campus. Learning from them has guided me down a path where I have been able to cultivate myself as the musician that I want to be. Its been a dream of mine, and I feel honored and blessed to be apart of it. I've been inspired to reach higher levels of musicianship, including writing my own music, arranging, leading, and sharing the gift that has been given to me with others. Being an out of state student inccurs many more expenses than normal, and has become unmanageble. I find myself in dire need of financial assistance this semester due to many unfortunate circumstances within my family. With your help I will be able to continue my studies this spring at SUNY purchase. Any amount that you can donate to my college fund will be much appreciated and I will be eternally grateful.
