Rent crisis

Donation protected
We've had a terrible hard time of it lately.  I lost my job in November and didn't have enough contributions for unemployment.  We used our last money to pay for the deposit on the rental unit we were moving into after we lost our house due to foreclosure.  We have had very little money coming in although we have been blessed by our parents paying for things like utilities and gas up until now.  We've also been very lucky that our local food bank has been very generous and given us enough to get by.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to pay for rent for December or January and were taken to court by the apartment complex.  We owe two months at $999 plus late fees and court costs, coming out to $2,350.  We have until the 29th to pay back the arrears in full or at least make a "good faith" effort to pay in order to delay any writ of eviction by a couple of weeks.

I've just been offered a job that will be able to cover the rent but it will take at least a week or two before I can start due to background checks, drug tests etc etc.

I'm asking for a loan or help with this crisis in the short term.  I know it's not a dire medical bill or other life and death situation but it's definitely a crisis for us.
