Hi all! Emily Pozzy here! I’m currently junior at Portland High School in Maine. As many of you know, I was selected to play on the USA U20 National Ultimate Team that will compete at the WJUC ( https://www.wjuc2020.com ) in Malmö, Sweden this July. This is an expensive trip, and it would mean a lot to me if you could help me get there! I’ve been playing ultimate since I was in fourth grade, but throwing and playing disc golf my whole life (thanks Mom & Dad). I’ve played for Portland through Middle School and High school, and this will be my sixth high school season with Forest City. I also play for the Maine YCC teams, and have for the past six seasons. For YCCs, I’ve played U16/17 girls (3 years), U19/20 girls (2 years), and U20 mixed (1 year). I plan on playing U20 girls again this year to live up to last years finals performance! I also started playing for Frolic in 2018, and they changed my perception of sports. Now, I always try to have the most fun possible in any situation, and couldn’t have done this without ultimate.
