Saturday, February 1st, we will be holding a fundraiser for my eldest son Kyle at Callahanʼs Bar, where I bartend, in Santa Cruz from 6PM till close.
**We have set this gofundme account up for those who are unable to attend but might like to help another way**

A lot of you know what has been going on, but for those who donʼt... Kyle was diagnosed just over 5 weeks ago with a rare disease called Avascular Necrosis, (even more rare for his age) which is basically the loss of blood flow to bone, causing the death and decay of the affected bone area. In his case, both femoral heads of his hips.
Within two weeks of being diagnosed at the emergency room we were meeting with his orthopedic surgeon Dr. Lim. Another two weeks later he was at Dominican for surgery in both hips, having bone marrow drawn for stem cell treatment along with bone grafts, and an artificial bone substance to help support structurally.
Kyle will be wheelchair bound and unable to walk for anywhere from 3-6 months, while the surgery does its work. 60-90% chance for success, we’ve been told but... We are going for ‼️
Our hope is to raise enough to lessen the loss of income from being out of work for so long, medical expenses, and hopefully get him into a single story unit. As he is currently in an upstairs apartment.
❤️❤️Keep Kyle in your thoughts and prayers for a successful recovery. It means the world to Kyle and our entire family . We love and appreciate you all.
Thank you!!!
